Directly north of the center of Tampa, Carrolwood is home to more than 30,000 people. We’re not sure how many Big Hairy Apes there are, so when you get there be sure to do a count for us. In the mean time, enjoy the half hour drive from the center of Tampa. The weather is Florida standard, so take sunscreen and shades. The cool look of the sunglasses will detract from the fur covered with lotion. Trust us. You’ll look fine.

There is also no excuse for not taking time to head to the beach on a whim. Tampa is situated to provide all your needs, but Carrollwood allows you to enjoy the proximity of a major city without the headache of dealing with all the traffic.
