Cities in Hillsborough County FL
If you head south out of Tampa along the east side of Tampa Bay, stay on Florida route 45 for around 15 minutes and eventually you will see signs for Gibsonton. This town of roughly 8800 people was known as a wintering town for sideshow and circus performers that used to be called “freaks”. We prefer to call them performers and entertainers, but they can be called what ever they like. The town had been the setting for multiple stories and novels, so it’s history is still a bit of Americana.
Stop in and look around. Living this close to Tampa and all of it’s convenience is a good idea. There are worse places to live if you are a real big hairy ape. At least here you will be able to wear your apishness proudly and not have to deal with people staring. Do you have something to add about this City?
